Re: All-Candidates Forum
The WLFN Custom Election Code requires that an “All-Candidates Forum” be held at least fourteen days prior to the election. Candidates are not required to participate in this forum.
Candidates must arrive by 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, August 1, 2024, to meet with the facilitator and review the structure of the meeting. The forum will be held in the Council Chambers of the WLFN Government Building, located at 2561 Quigli Drive in Williams Lake. Please arrive promptly.
Agenda for August 1, 2024, All-Candidates Forum:
| 5:45 pm | Facilitator reviews the forum’s structure and speaking order with the Candidates |
| 6:00 pm | Facilitator opens the forum: Community Cultural Coordinator – opening prayer |
| 6:05 – 6:30 pm | Opening comments by candidates – 2 minutes each |
| 6:30 – 7:30 pm | Questions from the floor – Candidates will have 1 minute to answer the question |
| 7:30 – 8:00 pm | Closing comments from candidates – 3 minutes each |
| 9 pm | Community Cultural Coordinator-Closing Prayer: Facilitator closes the forum |
